SNBNA Receives STOP THE BLEED® Educational License

The Southern Nevada Black Nurses Association (SNBNA) is proud to announce that our chapter has officially obtained a STOP THE BLEED® Educational License.

STOP THE BLEED® is a national public health initiative designed to educate and empower individuals with life-saving bleeding control techniques that can help save lives during emergencies before first responders arrive.

As part of SNBNA’s ongoing commitment to community outreach, health equity, education, and public safety, this educational license will allow our organization to further expand emergency preparedness and bleeding control education throughout Southern Nevada.

SNBNA plans to utilize this opportunity to provide community-focused education, outreach events, and training initiatives aimed at equipping individuals, families, students, and community members with practical emergency response skills.

We believe increasing access to life-saving education is an important part of improving community health outcomes and strengthening public preparedness within the communities we serve.

SNBNA looks forward to continuing to expand our public health initiatives and community partnerships through this important program.
