SNBNA Accepted for Consideration in STOP THE BLEED® Grant Program

The Southern Nevada Black Nurses Association (SNBNA) is excited to announce that our application for the STOP THE BLEED® Grant Program has officially been accepted for consideration for a STOP THE BLEED® Training Kit.

As a newly licensed STOP THE BLEED® educational organization, SNBNA remains committed to expanding community education, public health awareness, and emergency preparedness initiatives throughout Southern Nevada.

The STOP THE BLEED® program empowers individuals with life-saving bleeding control skills that can help save lives during emergencies before first responders arrive. Through this initiative, SNBNA plans to continue providing education and outreach opportunities focused on community preparedness and health equity.

Over the next 12 months, SNBNA aims to train community members, students, families, and local organizations in bleeding control and emergency response techniques through outreach events and educational partnerships.

Grant recipients will be announced in June.

We thank our members, community partners, and supporters for continuing to support SNBNA’s mission of advancing health equity, education, advocacy, and community engagement throughout Southern Nevada.
